The program will be opened on 11th of October by “No borders orchestra” composed of top musicians from the former Yugoslavia.
“No borders orchestra” presents a regional, cross bordering project with cultural impacts based on universal human values and focused on further progress of social, environmental and cultural awareness. Therefore, we are striving to create a regional orchestra that shall be comprised of best young professional musicians from all ex-YU countries. Together these musicians will form an orchestra of highest European standard that no country within the region could achieve on its own.
The chief conductor will be Premil Petrovic, solo pianist Simon Trpceski, and the program will cover the works of Prokofiev, Beethoven and Zoltán Kodály. The plan is that orchestra perform in the Palace of Serbia.
The biggest star of the festival running a slogan “The Siege of Belgrade” will be the legendary classic guitarist Paco de Lucia. He had an amazing concert in 2010 as a part of the Guitar Art Festival, and now returning with a new album.
Announced for 13th of October is a concert of a renowned pianist Aleksandar Madžar, while the next day in the same room will perform the French ensemble "Les Arts Florissants." Certainly, there will be more exclusive perfomances.
