1st Festival of European literature: 26 - 29 June (Belgrade)

1st Festival of European literature will be organized from 26-29 June and will include four multi-media literary programs.
The event will be open with the reading of Péter Esterházy, as stated, one of the world's greatest writers. Besides Esterházy the festival will visit David Albahari, Vladislav Bajac, Jelena Lengold, Vesna Goldsworthy, Laslo Blašković and one of Sweden's most prominent contemporary writers Aris Fioretos.
The Festival will have multi-media literary program, with seven readings, four films and a photo exhibition by Laslo Blaško, titled "American Graffiti".
Belgrade Festival of European literature will be held in the Great Hall of Dom Omladine every day at 7p.m and 8p.m. In 9p.m the free screening of the movie from the “Literature in the film” festival is scheduled.

9p.m: Literature on Film: Andrei Hržanovski: Room and a half, or a sentimental journey to his homeland (an essay by Joseph Brodsky)
Friday, 29th June

8p.m: On stage: Jelena Lengold
9p.m: Literature on Film: Laco Halama: camp troubled woman (on the novel by Anthony Balaž)
