Interfest – wine festival: 5 - 7 July (Novi Sad)

The biggest wine festival in the region, Interfest, will be held in Novi Sad from July 5 to 7 in Trg Slobode.

For the ninth time in a row would gather 120 wineries from Serbia and foreign countries. In addition to cellars from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Hungary, Spain, Italy and Portugal, Interfest 2012 will for the first time present New World wines from Australia, South Africa and Latin America.

It will be particularly interesting to attend the promotion of ten major Macedonian wineries which won a number of awards for their products at most prestigious competitions worldwide. the exhibition of wines from Portugal as a country famous for its native varieties would also be interesting. The another novelty in this year's wine festival would be embodied in comparative tasting of Portuguese and Serbian native varieties which the media jury would also grade as well.

The audience will be entertained by Masimo Savić, Aleksandra Dujina orchestra and Duca Aradski with "Hepi hipi bend".

Festival will be open every day from 6pm til midnight while the entrance is free. Wine lovers will be able to purchase tasting glasses at a price of 150 RSD as well as vouchers for wine, priced at 100 RSD and 50 RSD.
