Development projects for the new shopping mall in Autokomanda are being finalized and the construction should begin in the spring 2013.
Negotiations with several large brands are coming to the end and are almost certain that the mall in Autokomanda will have about 250 brands, of which 50 will be completely new to the Serbian market. Despite a lot of exclusive brands, most of the products will be available to the average costumer in Serbia. Possible look of the mall could be seen HERE.
The shopping centre, on the area of 200,000 square meters, should start working in autumn 2014 while the whole investment is worth EUR 200 million and will offer more than 5,000 new jobs.
The shopping mall will bring even more innovation in the entertainment sector, and will have the first IMAX cinema with the latest technology and a large number of halls.
The vice president of "Delta Holding" Jelena Krstović stated that they are also planning to build a shopping mall in Bul. Despota Stefana that will be greater than the Autokomanda one and equipped with more "accessible" brands to citizens.
Similar shopping mall is planned for Novi Sad, Nis, as well as in Banja Luka.
