On a stage in front of the Houses of Djura Jaksic from tonight to Sunday, 22 July will be held "Summer in Skadarliji" manifestation, where visitors could see how Belgrade and Skadarlija looked in 19th century.
The program (from 8.30p.m-9.30p.m) will be led by actor Milan Milosavljevic as Branislav Nusic, while Djura Jaksic will be played by Milan Tubic. Actors will portray the code of conduct typical for Skadarlija in 19th century while Ljiljana Jaksic in the role of Skadarlija dame will sing the old songs and tell anecdotes with the support of the orchestra from the restaurant "Sesir moj".
During the summer months in the lower part of the Skadarlija visitors could enjoy in the Street bazaar of exquisite handicrafts crafts, from 7p.m to 10p.m.
Belgraders and visitors are also able to see the movie A Streetcar Named Desire which is on the Filmstreet summer repertoire in Skadarlija on Monday 23rd of July at 8.30p.m.
