Grozdjebal: 14 - 16 September (Vrsac)

Grozdjebal (Grape ball) with a long tradition is held every year in the third week of September. This edition will be organized from 13-15 September.

Vrsac has been a wine loving region since Roman times making Grozdjebal to be very important manifestation to all wine and grape lovers in Vrsac and whole Serbia. At the time many institutes are open, diverse cultural, kids and sport events are being organized, bike carnival, entertainment program, competitions and different grape and wine exhibitions, as well.

The manifestation starts on September 14 in 17.00hrs with the free wine and tamboura orchestra on the plateau in front of the Svetog Krsta church. The second day program will also start at 17.00hrs where the most interesting events will be firework at 20.30hrs and concert of the Croatian singer Severina at 21.00hrs on the main town Square. On Saturday, event will begin at 8.00hrs with the Grape Ball city race and will end with the performance of Ana Stajdohar (21.00hrs, main town Square).

The last day of the Grape Ball is reserved for the city carnival at noon and the concert of Belgrade Jazz bend in the city centre.
