Natalie Cole began her career in the early 70’s in the genre of soul, and in the 80’s she switched to pop and R&B style, and then during the 90’s she continued on the path of her father, performing more traditional pop to which she remained faithful until 2010. In 1983, she already published four albums that have brought her five most popular R&B songs including "Inseparable", "Our Love" and "I've Got Love on My Mind".
Two years later she continued the "Take a Look" trend while performing with major orchestras, and in 1996 she released "Stardust", an album which contained another duet with her father - "When I Fall in Love". The album went platinum and earned her another Grammy. 9th career Grammy was awarded to her in 2008 for "Still Unforgettable", the album that also brought her the NAACP Award for "Best Jazz Artist". On her first studio album after a five-year break, Natalie recorded 12 songs with her band, with some famous musicians joining the recording session, such as Andrea Bocelli, Juan Luis Guerra and Arturo Sandoval, and the song "Acércate Más" (Come Closer to Me) even features Nat King Cole with the version he recorded in 1958. The album also features covers of "Quizas, Quizas, Quizas", "Noche de Ronda", “El Día Que Me Quieras”, "Mañana de Carnaval", "Besame Mucho" etc. Natalie Cole will perform in Belgrade for the very first time in her long career.
