XVI Belgrade critical mass: 28 July (Belgrade)

On Saturday, 28 July XVI Belgrade critical mass will be organized under the motto "Bike Plus, carbon footprint minus"
Bike caravan will start from Republic Square at 5.30p.m Participation is free, and it is desirable (not mandatory) that all interested are dressed in green. The organizers suggested that all pariticipent have something green on themselves like green hat, flower, shirt etc, have protective medical masks and to decorate bicycles. It’s all done with an aim to indicate that bikers are extremely exposed to harmful gases in Belgrade while driving but also to point out that whole ecological picture of the city is in the bad condition.
Also welcome are those on skateboards, rollerblades, and other means that run on its own energy.
Around 6.30 p.m in front of the Art Pavilion "Cvijeta Zuzoric" in Kalemegdan a mini discussion about cycling and its impact on ecology will be organized. Critical Mass is a social event held in over 350 cities around the world to promote a bike as a mean of transportation but also to include more sustainable modes of transport.
Critical Mass is a peaceful gathering that celebrates cycling in order to increase the number of cyclists in urban areas.
