Hotels in Belgrade

Belgrade has 59 hotels, with a considerable lack of five-star hotel.

Belgrade was the center of many political, cultural, sporting events and meetings in recent years. Thanks to it a large number of business people, artists, athletes, as well as foreign tourists were visiting Belgrade. At the time, the biggest problem for the organization was the lack of accommodation. The arrival of investors and announced new investments are enabling better days for the Serbian hospitality and the tourism in general.

Five star hotels have excellent units in Belgrade. Could be a quite expensive for the average visitor but it's worth it. The vast majority of Serbian hotels are 2 and 3-star hotels and many of them are undergoing privatization as a way to raise the quality of their services.

Other hotels in Belgrade are locally managed. Several famous centrally located Belgrade hotels have already been renovated and now offer more then just a basic standard of rooms and services. Budget accommodation is now available, but not widely spread around.

Apartment Hotel

An Apartment hotel is a type of accommodation, described as "a serviced apartment complex that uses a hotel style booking system". It is similar to renting an apartment, but with no fixed contracts and occupants can 'check-out' whenever they wish.
Apartment hotels are flexible types of accommodation; instead of the rigid format of a hotel room, an apartment hotel complex usually offers a complete fully fitted apartment.

It is primarily oriented on satisfying the needs of business clients.

In 2008, Belgrade saw the opening of hotels Design Mr. President, City Code, Villa Kalemegdan and Townhouse 27. In 2009 - Hotel Crystal, Townhouse 50, Hotel Evropa. In 2010 Hotel Tulip Inn Putnik, Hotel Balkan Garni and this year great Squere Nine etc.
