If you don’t have serious a medical problem it’s better to visit nearest pharmacy. You can find a plenty of them around town (for the address, visit website).
But if you have prescription from your chosen doctor you can exchange it for the medicine only in state-owned pharmacies if the medicine is included in the list of those covered by state health insurance. This exchange is not free. For some medicines you are obligated to pay only the fraction of the price but for some you have to pay the full price.
Pharmacies are opened from 08.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m. on working days and on Saturdays from 08.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. Many of them are offering weekend discounts or special offers on some days of the week.
